LithAssist™ Suction Control for Laser Lithotripsy

Used in conjunction with a holmium laser system for lithotripsy to suction fluid, soft tissue, and stone fragments. The LithAssist is a rigid device. It has an 11.6 Fr stainless steel, dual-lumen cannula and an ergonomic handle for control. The smaller 5 Fr lumen accommodates a laser fiber during kidney- or bladder-stone lithotripsy. The larger lumen provides suction assistance when the device is used with an independent vacuum source. The trigger on the handle controls the amount of suction. The Tuohy-Borst adapter secures the laser fiber. A syringe can be attached to the Luer lock to flush out clots and clogs.
